  10. The current version of GT is still a beta, as a one-day-old program is
  11. supposed to be. If you find any errors in the program, please contact
  12. me (>>read 4. Address). No responsibility can be taken for damage done,
  13. even if the damage was done by MR.

  15. 1. Introduction
  16. ---------------
  17. When I starded programming in HTML, I always had to use PageMill on the
  18. Macintosh to make GIF pictures transparent, because I didn't know any
  19. Atari program that does this. This is because I wrote GIF Trans.
  20. It will declare one of the 256 colors of a 256 color GIF image as
  21. transparent, at least in all the test pictures I used.

  23. 2. Usage
  24. -----------
  25. Double-click GIFTRANS.PRG. A FileSelector will appear. Now choose the
  26. picture, then select the number of the color and the destination path.
  27. GT will now load the source image, add the transparency and save it
  28. under the destination path.

  31. -----------------
  32. The only error implemented is at the moment the 'internal error', what
  33. means, there's another bug in the program.
